My Uncle Anton.
Earlier in the month my Uncle Anton passed away in Indonesia, last night Mum hosted his wake at her house for those of us who couldn’t make it to Indonesia for the funeral. Always nice seeing the family all together in the one room, even if it is to mourn the passing of an amazing man.
Ordered yesterday and they arrived today (free shipping too). I couldn’t resist buying these as I used to wear them every day in high school (I was never a fan of typical Clarks style school shoes, and wanted something different). Being a suede boot they wore out quick so I’ve had a lot of pairs over the years. I even wore a purple pair in uni (let’s not go there). I can’t for the life of me remember the brand that used to make them but these Deus Rollers are made by Australian company Rossi Boots. Quality is awesome. I’m happy!

Mum has always had dual citizenship (2 passports) but she’s always wanted to be Australian. She decided to give up her Indonesian passport last week, she’s now officially an Aussie!

Love Clovelly. Mostly for the great snorkelling, but I’m also a huge fan of baking on a warm concrete slab (as opposed to getting lots of sand between your toes!).

Nanami’s been cooped up in the house for a few days with the flu so I made it my mission to get her out of the house for some much needed sun hugs before going in to work this morning. Nothing better than being a tourist in Sydney, she’s so special when the sun’s out!
