Love this! Pretty smart!

Yup.

So yesterday morning a few people reported issues with JDMST not loading right. I failed to see any problems, but after some trial and error I noticed an advertising banner was screwing up the entire forum, at this point I’d already ripped a lot of hair out and attempted to rebuilt and optimise tables in the backend. Unfortunately for me something crapped out when rebuilding some tables… fair call as JDMST is a MASSIVE forum, this in turn totally destroyed something. People were not able to see new posts, some couldn’t make posts… nightmare.

I googled hard, and harder, no luck. I ended up contacting some developer friends, no luck there either (they were all too busy). I contacted the host in the USA and they suggested I revert to a previously backed up snapshot of the forum. Problem is the backup was 4 days old. I did it, as it had to be done, but all posts made in the past 4 days were lost, all private messages too and this has obviously upset a fair few people (members and traders as well).

On the one hand I’m glad everything is working as it should again. Daily backups could be worth the extra $$$ perhaps, but then again it’s not the kind of thing that happens a lot (and it was my fault in the first place!).

Yup… ALWAYS end up getting seafood after a visit. HAHA.

Of-course Squishy joined us too.

I’m always critical (having had many aquariums myself) but it’s always fun visiting the Sydney Aquarium. Best surprise was the dugong! I love dugongs!

Despite feeling like an old man; Jess’ 21st at the Arthouse last weekend was awesome! The speeches had me crying with laughter, especially Christina’s speech and the videos of Jess in a unicorn outfit rapping to Beiber. Ahhhh to be 21… brought back memories of my 21st so many years ago (and nope I didn’t get carded on the way in… spewin!).

Good friends Garth and Val are engaged (FINALLY!). They threw a party at The London on Saturday night, was a great night (sorry no more photos, all of them were blurry!!!).

It’s the me again! :) Seriously cool venture. Love the concept and have used them a few times now to do odd jobs @ Zen Garage. Found some dudes to move a massive pile of bricks, also found a guy to clean the space. Check them out if you have odd tasks you need done, whatever they are (and you set the price!).

Mum played a traditional game where she laid out items on the ground, each representing a different path in life. Miles went for the calculator which represents business, despite Richie yelling out for him to grab the cash HAHA.
