Officially licensed replica, 1:1 scale, and yes you can wear it!
Couldn’t help myself. Saw this on one of Nanami’s Facebook posts (she was umming and erring about whether or not to buy it) and boom! I hit that buy now button, hard.

More free toys thanks to Anh Minh To. Thanks so much bud. Will cherish these forever!
Got a package today in the mail from Japan. It was a massive box but with something so very small and so carefully packed inside. Love the little note too. Love love love the Japanese! So much!
A little nuiguruma of my NA8C (he makes them lovingly by hand and can do your exact car if you like, albeit a lot bigger and more expensive than this little guy!).
So cute! I’ll be hanging him from the left wiper stalk inside the cabin.
I’m a sucker for hand made stuff and this gear reminds me of leather working class in high school. Good vibes were had from the minute I saw the package in the mail box (love the little leather touch on the actual package itself) and then smelling the goods once I carefully opened the bag.

Got a message from 2J yesterday, his missus was selling her ‘as new’ left handed guitar (so new it still had plastic protection film over the pick-ups). I couldn’t resist the opportunity to have a new guitar to play with so I jumped at the opportunity and now she’s mine.
2J delivered her at midnight last night and we had a jam session till wee hours. It looks different to anything I’ve ever owned and plays really nice, has heaps of sustain and with its pick-up gear (the tone knob pops up and makes the guitar sound almost strat like) it’s a lot more diverse than I thought it would be. The neck and action is fast but not as fast as my last guitar, speed isn’t my thing anymore these days in any case haha.
I’ve never been a Nike guy but I fell for the colourway on these Eric Koston Nikes.
HUF socks. Cute huh? Got some everyday pens too from The Hundreds (I buy cool pens, they go missing all the time! Damn pen thieves!).
Ages ago I plugged Crystal Head Vodka (it’s awesome!) on Zen Garage. I got a thanks email from them (impressive!) and they asked for my address to send me a little thanks. I never got anything until earlier this week. A couple of cool shot glasses, very nice!
“I love your old stuff better than your new stuff” – anyone who knows me knows that I’m more of a technophobe than tech geek. I love fat decks with big wheels, thin steel tubing and friction shifters on the downtube, sub 1000kg cars with no airbags…
Regarding mobile phones; I’ve always hated them. I was the last in my group of friends to buy one, even then I hated it and today I still find myself not answering it most of the time. I felt a little left out though in Taiwan as all the boys were on “whatsapp”, some new instant messaging system which couldn’t be installed on my iPhone 3GS because it was too old. That and my 3GS’ built in camera sux ass so I promised myself (whilst I was in Taiwan) that I’d get a new phone when I got back.
Well today I got my new iPhone 5. Now I’ve got to figure out how to get all my contacts off my old phone on to my new one… it shouldn’t be hard, but when you’re a pessimistic technophobe like me you know something will go wrong!
