Is TV Dead? Last week a friend urged me to watch the Tennis Finals. I couldn’t find it live anywhere online, and I realised I’ve not had TV in years. Does anyone still watch Television?

Funny story time!
I used to dress pretty punk at my first design job. I was asked by the agency next door to where I worked if I’d be interested in being in a rock clip for a band called SAVAGE GARDEN. The guys said I could come exactly as I was, and I thought “Hmmm, Savage Garden sounds kinda like SOUNDGARDEN so OK, why not!”.
We shot all day and were fed pizzas for lunch. During the break, the baddest dude there (I gave him a ciggie and he ripped the filter off it before lighting up) was on his phone to a mate yelling; “I’m filming for a couple of fags in this gay film clip”, thing is he said it so loud the Savage Garden guys heard it loud and clear. Fun times!
We shot all sorts of scenes morning to night and in the end Sony didn’t feel there was enough of the Savage Garden duo in the clip. They wanted way more close up face shots of the 2 guys so apparently a lot of footage of us was cut out. Probably a good thing, right?!
OMFG. Double Booked. @star.santillan got me a ticket to #BANKS but I just met a client yesterday who’s bought me a ticket to Japan on the same dates!!!!!! What to do?!

Had a rad night with a few crazy peeps over at mine for the count down, hope everyone had a rad night too. Blasted my own tunes at some point, was awesome! I’ve put a playlist together of the tracks Star and I have created (and a couple of remixes too). We’ll be sure to create more music this year (psyched!). Especially keen to work on the first track; “By My Side” which we left unfinished last month.
Star and I are blazed as fuck and we’ve got what we think is an awesome start to a new track (but we’ll save judgement for when we’re sober tomorrow lol!). #mondayfundays

Another great sub $500 pick-up off an American guy on eBay! I’m still on the hunt for a Les Paul, or an SG, but this thing comes pretty damn close! It’s a left-handed Dillion USA Phoenix (made in Korea) which is a replica of a 1963 Gibson Firebird. Their time warp early 90’s web site is amazing LOL!).
She’s heavy, both in sound and weight! Definitely the heaviest guitar I’ve ever owned (some believe heaviness translates to fat tones and more sustain). It’s got an old school painted neck but super low action. Doesn’t feel anything like a metal shredder (typically wider and thinner necks) but it plays great, sounds great and is just an awkwardly unique thing which comes with a right handed bag, can’t sit up against the wall, or on a guitar stand! I love it!
