I’m on fire! Another logo design! I designed the ClubITR logo a few years ago for Felix Alim. Felix is setting up a club for S2000 owners now so he reached out and asked for help. I’ve kept it in line with what I did for the ClubITR logo, that’s using the font for the actual S2000 badge (I had to make up the “K”).

New 2016 Zen Garage Web Site

The ZEN web site has always been a temporary site, but we hit the ground running, and next thing you know it’s 2016. IE: I’ve never been happy with it. Good news is I’ve spent the last 3 days on the new site (FINALLY!) and it’s now live.

Bigger images and much cleaner design. It’s a great start (I like to look at it as a stock car) and from here I’ll do what I always love to do; and that’s tweaking the site theme whilst I go along, modifying it until it’s ours.

So check it out. I’ve got to somehow figure out how to edit all the previous features to make them work with the new theme (all the old images are the wrong sizes now), but I’ve got the best dev guy on it (James Linney​ who even worked on the site yesterday on his birthday of all days!!!).

NFS x ZEN – Week 2 Video

Welcome to week 2 of Need For Speed – Crew Create. We did wheels last week (the TE37SL”s won the vote!), and this week we’re onto Body Kits!

We got to partner up with surfboard designer Hayden Cox of Hayden Shapes and together, Hayden and I find out that wings and fins share a lot more in common than you might think!

I say no to most commercial work these days but sometimes you just can’t say no! This is a branding design I’m just finishing up for a new women’s cycling label in the UK. The concept was to avoid the typical cliche women’s cycling aesthetic (soft fonts, pinks, purples, flowers and pretty things). Client is happy. I’m happy!

Something I’ve been working on for the past few months that many might not know about; before JDM Style Tuning there was Australian Infront, a not-for-profit design community I founded in 1999.

This year we’re making a book with Blurb Books which lifts talent from our FOLIO section on our web site. The book is being printed by Blurb as we speak, and will be distributed to Studios Australia wide giving the creatives featured in the book a lot of potential future work!
