    What's the logic behind switching the paddles? I'm guessing it's performance oriented, but I can't see how one set of paddles is better than another.

    A lot of it is cosmetic Jarod but they to have better shape and feel in comparison to the stock paddles.

    Unlike the original plastic paddles these are CNC-machined from aluminum and where the tiny plastic paddles hid behind the steering wheels (basically invisible) you can see these very clearly.

    Some people have suggested that they can now shift when they're turning but I find this hasn't really resolved that 'issue' that well. For me it's more about the look and feel (I think they should have come out from the factory like this!).
