8.30AM crazy fog.
The boys.
Most likely never going!
Suiting up.
Not only was it foggy, but it was freezing cold during the driver briefing, luckily though the sun came up and it ended up being the perfect day.
We hired the 13HP (faster) corporate karts.
I thought the stars had aligned when I got kart number 32 (R32 GT-R!), but I knew beating Aaron was going to be hard (he’s a pro race car driver!).
The Aarons. Note: Fast guy is in his own suit.
We had 13 guys out on the track, not too many drivers, just right.
After a warm up session and 4 hardcore races the final 15 lap grand prix decider ended up like this.
2nd place for me, was never going to come first as Aaron was just too good. He also got the fastest lap time of the day, beating my time by just .01 of a second. Soooooooooo frustrating!
Beers and lunch at the Royal Cricketers Arms, apparently one of Australia’s oldest pubs (1880).
