I just finished my playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty (DLC). The perfect game to push my new PC. I disliked the game at launch 3 years ago so I wasn’t expecting much more than really pretty graphics, but damn the ending got me. I thought the ending of Cyberpunk was pretty depressing 3 years ago, but the new alternate ending in this DLC takes it to another level. I loved it.

Can’t read shit up close but also starting to have some short sightedness so I got a new pair of prescription glasses. Inspired by Lennon, made by Valentino. They’re light, comfy and best of all they’re transition lenses!

Lore wise I think the ending is the best part of the game as it had me thinking about it for a day or two (I love that).
Some would argue the concept of a multiverse is predicable and a cop out, others might argue that New Game Plus sux as you lose everything you’ve spent time on and can’t pick different traits, but personally I love that stepping through the Unity is all about man’s hunger for more power.
The way I see it, if you step through it enough times you end up being like the Hunter. Bitter, lack of care and empathy, probably a lot like how power affects people in real life and how it can corrupt the best of us.
Caught up with Nanami recently. Whenever I visit her place I make a bee line to her studio to sneak a peek at her work in progress. Right now she’s drawing frogs!

20hrs in, it’s been a slow burn, but it’s kicking in SO hard now! Obsessed!
Starfield is an action role-playing game developed by Bethesda and is the first new IP developed by Bethesda in 25 years.
Yesterday I decided to pay for the premium edition which has given me early access to play the game today. I built my PC in 2017 and it only just meets the minimum required specs. I’m honestly surprised it’s lasted this long, so earlier today I finally bit the bullet and bought a new PC too.
This time around I decided to buy something pre-built from Aftershock in Melbourne. I ended up buying the ZEAL: LVL 10 AMD R7 7800X3D/RTX 4090 which will run games in ultra settings in 4K (excitement!). It should get to me next week.

Starfield runs perfectly fine on my old PC with graphics set to medium setting at 1080 res. 2hrs in, it’s got me hooked already. VERY much like Fallout 4 all over again, but in a space setting, but similar vibes.
No bugs so far, everything has been really smooth. Gunplay/combat is actually great! Combat in space is AOK too! Dialogue stuff is very Fallout 4/Bethesda so far (quirky). I like it and can’t wait to play more of it at max graphic in 4K next week.
